The little Branches Cottages
Little Branches is owned and run by your hosts, Pip and Paul Shepherd. Pip (formely Pip Fowler) bought the property in June 2009 and started building the new cottage in April 2010. It was designed and built by the 1880s Cottage Company, in conjunction with Pip's father-in-law, Sir Michael Fowler. The idea was to have the design match the larger cottage on the property, which has an historic building designation and dates back to the 1860s. The large oak tree has also been designated historic and its entwined trunk adds to the air of romance on the property.
Pip and Paul live on the property in the neighbouring cottage and so are right there to welcome and look after you during your stay.
Here are Millie, Ralph and Ruby, Pip and Paul's Cavalier King Charles Spaniels They love welcoming guests, especially friendly little dogs like them. Little Branches is pet friendly.
Pip has had many careers so far, including being a journalist, Cordon Bleu cook, Montessori teacher, web writer and lecturer in communication at the Open Polytechnic. She is currently an e-learning and web writing consultant and works mainly from home.
